Throwback Thursday: Playin’ a Bunch of Board Games

This was a good week with a lot of fantastic games! The post does show, however, my tastes at the time, and how they have changed slightly since. Here are the games I played: 

  • Pandemic
  • Arcane Academy
  • King of Tokyo
  • Dungeons & Dragons
  • King of New York
  • New Angeles
  • Star Wars: Rebellion

Pandemic had largely fallen out of the rotation. Arcane Academy was huge for me for a while, but drifted out of favour. King of Tokyo mostly sees use today with groups of kids, where it goes down really well. King of New York doesn’t see a lot of play. 

Star Wars: Rebellion is still one of my favourites, but I only played it twice last year. New Angeles is a game I love, but struggle to get to the table. 

D&D is different. I get a lot of that, though I generally prefer other RPGs. It’s easy to find a group for D&D, though.
