Having not managed much in October, I’m pretty determined to get more done in November. Let’s jump right in then with the current minis on the slate. Namely, these are 10 Lychguard, 3 Ophydian Destroyers (and a Plasmacite) and the beefy lad, Nekrosor Ammentar:
Of course, you can see from the image at the top of the page that, at the time of writing, these are further on than they are in their individual pictures, which were taken at the “muddy” stage of process. These will be the immediate miniatures.
Next up is a really important set of units: my 2 blocks of 6 Lokhust Destroyers and their accompanying Lokhust Lords.
I don’t know how these will be to paint. They’re reasonably open, so I don’t forsee them being particularly fiddly. The :ords might have a few delicate joints, but even then, they’ll be fine.
I’m also thinking ahead to painting the Nightbringer. I attempted metallic purple on my old Nightbringer and it did not turn out well. I hope that Vallejo’s purple metallics turn out better!
I’m looking forward to seeing how they work out. The Nightbringer mini is a daunting one to paint, but then so was the Void Dragon, and he turned out pretty well. We’ll see how it all goes.
