I intended to start the year off with an expansion to my Maggotkin of Nurgle, but Games Workshop really struggled to keep certain items in stock. This was mostly the Pusgoyles. They’re pretty awesome. I moved on to other things, instead.
Now I’ve gone back to the Maggotkin to catch up with my plans. I’m currently working on a few Pusgoyles, a couple of Lords of Affliction, and a Harbinger of Decay. With the Great Unclean One I painted, and the Lifeswarm, that’s my 2k expansion done. There are other odds and ends I’ll likely still add, but that’s the bulk shifted.
I’ve actually had Bloab since the previous Maggotkin book came out. I think I bought him around four and a half years ago in the summer of 2018 in the London (Tottenham Court Road) branch of Games Workshop whilst on holiday.
It feels good to have finished him and finally have him off the pile of shame. For Age of Sigmar, I’ve also been saying that I’m done with playing with unpainted minis, so it’s good that I can use him again! He’s one of my favourite units from the army. I really like him on the tabletop.
Anyway, I better go crack on with the rest of the Maggotkin!
