With a doubles event coming up next weekend, and having finished up Orikan as my Warlord, I needed a Lokhust Heavy Destroyer for my list. Never one to underdo it, I grabbed 3.
These are fantastic minis that were mostly fine to put together… except for a few specific things. Specifically, I didn’t like joining the upper bodies to the lower bodies. That was a pain. The points of contact with the base were also pretty terrible, and they did not stand up to vigorous drybrushing. Two of the three broke pretty quickly. I reinforced all of them with rocks.
Anyway, that aside, they were a joy. Here are the finished minis:
These look alright! I worried there wasn’t enough blue on them, but the guns make up for the lack of blue bits on the bodies.
That’s me all sorted for my event. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m unsure what’s next for the Necrons. Probably a bunch more destroyers.
