It’s Friday, and here on No Rerolls that means it’s time for an all-new 5 on Friday. We’re going to start with 5 exciting releases for this week before moving on to our usual digest of some of our favourite articles from the past week. Of course, we’re slow readers, so don’t be surprised if there are some articles that are a little older – these are just some of the great articles we happen to have actually read in the past week.
Releases & Previews
Every week there are many games, books, and miniatures released. This will probably be a mix of previews, preorders, and releases, and with release dates being the way they are in this industry, it’s always pretty approximate. Excuses out of the way, here are 5 of the releases that caught our attention this week:
Games Workshop releases a new AoS battletome for the Ogor Mawtribes – Ogors! I’m always excited when a new Destruction book drops, as they really are the most fun of the Grand Alliances.

The Ogors have been long overdue for a refresh, and there are some lovely new miniatures being released alongside this book. It’s about time! The new rules seem fun as well. I’ll need to take a look and see what a new ogor list might look like, and what I could start putting together.

Mantic Games is taking preorders for a reprint of their Worms board game – Worms was a big game for me, growing up. I started with the original game, on PC, SNES, and PS1. Worms 2 was probably peak worms for me, and the PC version had insane levels of customisation options. Worms Armageddon was also pretty excellent. I’ve been away from the franchise for some time, but was interested to see this come up for reprinting from Mantic:

I need to properly look into the game and see if it’s for me. The franchise is certainly one that still appeals to me, but we’ve all seen terrible cash-grab games in the past. I have high hopes that Mantic will be faithful and really push for a solid game, though. One to watch, I reckon.

Wyrd to release Index of the Untold, a campaign book for Malifaux’s fourth edition – The latest campaign book for Malifaux, which is now in its fourth edition.

The book includes 13 narrative scenarios and 20 non-player enemies, as well as a bunch of fiction. I do like that these books tend to push the story of Malifaux forward with each release; it’s definitely better than a stale, static setting.

BANDAI is taking preorders on Gundam Assemble Starter Set 01 (ST01) – Oh, this is a big release! I’ve got folk at club who will be all over this. The Gundam Assemble Starter Set 01 (ST01) is the perfect on‑ramp into Bandai’s new tactical minis game, pairing iconic mobile suits with streamlined rules and everything two players need to hit the table fast. It’s a tight, accessible launch box that shows off the system’s fast turns, crisp sculpts, and classic Universal Century flavour.

With pre‑assembled units, scenario play, and a ruleset built for quick, decisive skirmishes, ST01 delivers a complete head‑to‑head experience straight out of the box. It’s a sharp starter for anyone wanting to dive into Gundam tabletop battles without a huge amount of hobby overhead.

Wizards of the Coast to release World of Warcraft setting for Dungeons & Dragons – I really like the Warcraft setting. I grew up with it, and it was formative in a lot of ways. I love many of the characters and just feel that it’s such a solid, well-developed fantasy world. It’s great to see it coming to D&D.

We’ve previously reviewed fan-made supplements, so I’m keen to see what will come from an official partnership. I’m especially keen, actually, to see what artwork comes out of this. Blizzard and Wizards of the Coast are both companies that produce huge amounts of truly amazing art, and I can’t wait to see what comes along with this release.

Blog Posts & Articles
The meat of 5 on Friday, the articles are listed in no particular order, so let’s get into some recommendations:
Q-Hammer – Downloadable Rules @ A Tabletop Gamer’s Diary – A fan-made alternative to Age of Sigmar. It looks very streamlined, which is a big plus. It certainly returns to the original conceit of Age of Sigmar being a 4-page set of rules. I’ve had a skim. I’ll need to sit down with it properly.
Ogor Mawtribes Full Range 2026 Review – Warhammer Age of Sigmar @ Sprues & Brews – Great new miniatures! Everything here is an absolute banger. I don’t see myself picking these up right away, but I’d like to add my Ogors at some point.
Teutonic Knights @ Wargaming Workshop – I always get nervous about painting white. It’s daunting. It usually ends up just looking dirty. These minis are gorgeous and perfect. Fantastic work.
How do we pitch new games? @ Cannibal Halfling Gaming – This is an interesting post about pitching non-D&D RPGs. It’s less about worldbuilding and more about resetting player expectations around character progression. The author breaks down how the “D&D monomyth” shapes player habits, media trends, and actual plays, offering a smart take on how to broaden your table’s horizons.
TTRPG Review- Be Like a Cat @ The kind GM – The Kind GM breaks down Tim Roberts’ charming solo/two-player RPG Be Like a Cat, praising its authentic feline mechanics, built-in journaling, and versatile settings.
