It’s Friday, and here on No Rerolls that means it’s time for an all-new 5 on Friday. We’re going to start with 5 exciting releases for this week before moving on to our usual digest of some of our favourite articles from the past week. Of course, we’re slow readers, so don’t be surprised if there are some articles that are a little older – these are just some of the great articles we happen to have actually read in the past week.
Releases & Previews
Every week there are many games, books, and miniatures released. This will probably be a mix of previews, preorders, and releases, and with release dates being the way they are in this industry, it’s always pretty approximate. Excuses out of the way, here are 5 of the releases that caught our attention this week:
Games Workshop releases Wazdakka Gutsmek for Warhammer 40,000’s Orks – Orks are great. I’ve always had a real soft spot for Greenskins of all types. I’m actually shocked that I’ve never had an Ork army for 40K. Oh, hey, here’s a cool Ork:

A big claw? Great! On a bike? Even better! He does feel a tad overpriced, but the mini is gorgeous, isn’t it? It’s gonna be cool to see Orks get some love at the start of the next edition of Warhammer 40,000.

Wyrd releases a digital edition of the Outcasts book for Malifaux, fourth edition – I’ve not played much Malifaux this edition. I still love the game, setting, and miniatures, though. It’s just so cool. And my favourite faction continues to be the Outcasts:

Most of my crew are Outcasts. Well, they were. I think some have been reclassified a bit. I should push more into the Malifaux stuff again. I think my next move there will be expanding Jack Daw or Tara. I do have stuff sitting unpainted…

Iello to release Bunny Kingdom Town board game – I liked Bunny Kingdom. It wasn’t amazing, but it was fine. Now, we’ve got Bunny Kingdom Town, a spinoff:

This seems to be similar to the original Bunny Kingdom, but optimised for 2 players. It’s a bit like the various 2-player versions of other games that have been released. I’m thinking stuff like 7 Wonders Duel or Codenames: Duet.

Factory Fortress to release Carcass Front starter set for Trench Crusade – Finally, we’re getting a starter set for Trench Crusade. The game has long been really interesting to me, and it’s great to see it growing into itself and getting a proper range to go with it.

Carcass Front contains warbands for Procession of the Sacred Affliction and Heretic Naval Raiders. There are rules and accessories in here, too. This is a tempting prospect, as I’d love to get more skirmish games to the table and the minis look fun to paint.

Devir releases their new board game, Gaudi – Gaudí turns the architect’s visionary style into a thoughtful, three‑pillar puzzle where players balance Nature, Catalonia, and Religion while crafting trencadís mosaics and climbing chimneys on their personal boards. Movement around the central chandelier drives every choice, making each round a tight dance of card play, tile selection, and careful scoring.

With its blend of pattern‑building, card timing, and a clever “lowest two scores count” system, Gaudí rewards harmony over excess as you shape your own mosaic of influences across three rounds. It’s a beautifully thematic design that aims to capture the spirit of Gaudí’s work.

Blog Posts & Articles
The meat of 5 on Friday, the articles are listed in no particular order, so let’s get into some recommendations:
Top Three AoS Lists for Iron Brawl 2026 @ Woehammer – You know, I’m just delighted to see a varied Flesh-Eater Courts list doing well. For too long, it’s mostly been dragon spam that’s been seeing victory. I’m so happy to finally see an interesting, diverse list take the top spot.
Fallout Wasteland Warfare: Commonwealth Expansion Review @ Kuribo’s Painting – A practical, collector‑minded look at the Commonwealth Expansion for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. It covers faction rules, terrain interactions, regional add‑ons, scenario pack, and more. This feels like a clear-eyed review of what’s valuable, what’s optional, and why this supplement is worth grabbing before it vanishes.
Star Wars gaming @ Spalanz – This is a breezy May the Fourth tour through the Star Wars games hitting the table lately, from Outer Rim’s bounty‑hunting swagger to Shatterpoint’s tight skirmishes, Legion’s full‑scale battles, the rising tide of Unlimited, and the enduring charm of Star Wars RPGs. It’s a personal look at the galaxy’s best ways to play.
Ork Buster Armour @ A Loft Full of Lead – This is a brutal little unit of Orks in Buster Armour. It includes a Warboss and three magnetised Veteran Nobs, all clad in wonderfully battered plates. Small squad, big attitude!
Saga Greek Cities @ Wargaming Workshop – More cool minis! A showcase of freshly painted Greek City States for Saga. They’re a bright, characterful force with plenty of variety and classic charm.
